Our story

She carries her
own story.

A ghoonghat can hold a history. We believe it can also hold every possibility that comes next.

For generations, a ghoonghat has been more than a piece of cloth.

It has carried traditions, celebrations, expectations and memories. It has travelled from mothers to daughters, from one home to another, from one generation to the next.

Sometimes it represented grace.
Sometimes respect.
Sometimes belonging.
And sometimes, it hid the very woman wearing it.

We wanted to look at it differently.

Because the woman of today doesn't have to choose between where she comes from and where she's going.

She can carry both.

She can wear something that reminds her of her grandmother and still make it completely her own. She can hold on to a craft that existed long before her without inheriting every expectation that came with it.

Ghoonghaat, to us

Not a veil that hides her.
A canvas that carries her.

Every weave carries the hands that made it.
Every motif carries a piece of where we came from.
Every silhouette carries memories of women before us.

But the moment she wears it, another story begins.

Hers.

Because heritage should never tell a woman who she has to be.

It should give her something beautiful to carry while she decides that for herself.

She carries her roots.
She carries her memories.
She carries the women who came before her.

But above all

She carries her own story.
