These Terms govern your use of Ghoonghaat and any purchase from the store. Ghoonghaat operates from Surat, Gujarat, India.

Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, cancel, or limit an order before dispatch for reasons including availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, or inability to fulfil. An order is accepted only after payment confirmation and our order confirmation.

Products and presentation

We aim to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours can vary by display. Hand-finished, handcrafted, and made-to-order components may carry minor variations that are inherent to the process and are not defects where the product is materially consistent with its description.

Price, payment, and taxes

Prices, delivery charges, taxes, and any applicable charges are those shown at checkout before you place an order. We may correct an obvious pricing or listing error before dispatch and will contact you if that affects your order.

Custom tailoring and made-to-order work

Custom or tailored orders are produced from the measurements, selections, and instructions confirmed by you. You are responsible for providing accurate information and approving the final specifications. Once work has begun, changes may be unavailable or may require additional time and charges. Customised or tailored items are not eligible for return or exchange except where required by applicable law or where we confirm a verified production defect.

Shipping, returns, and exchanges

Shipping, return, and exchange terms are governed by our Shipping Policy and Returns & Exchanges Policy, which form part of these Terms. Please review them before placing an order.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You must not misuse the store, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use our photographs, designs, text, branding, or other content without prior written permission.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ghoonghaat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the store or products. Any direct liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts in Surat, Gujarat will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or an order.
