Shipping Policy

Worldwide shipping: Ghoonghaat ships internationally. Destination availability, delivery time, courier options, and shipping charges are confirmed at checkout before you place your order.

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed with Ghoonghaat for delivery in India and, where checkout accepts the delivery address, internationally. It should be read with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Order confirmation and dispatch

We begin processing an order after payment is successfully confirmed. Ready-to-ship orders are generally dispatched within 2 business days after payment confirmation. Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays and periods when our operations are closed.

For customised, made-to-order, made-to-measure or pre-order items, the production timeline stated on the product page or confirmed to you in writing applies before dispatch. That timeline is separate from carrier transit time. If an item cannot be dispatched within the timeframe we have confirmed, we will contact you with the available options.

Shipping charges and delivery estimates

Available delivery methods, shipping charges and any delivery estimate are shown at checkout before you place your order. Charges and availability may vary by destination, parcel size, service level and carrier. Any delivery date or transit time is an estimate, not a guarantee, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

Carrier delays, customs clearance, weather, public holidays, operational disruptions and events beyond our reasonable control can affect delivery.

Shipping within India

Orders delivered within India are shipped using the service available for your address at checkout. Once dispatched, we will provide tracking details where the carrier makes them available. If you need assistance with a delivery, please contact us with your order number.

International delivery, customs and import charges

International delivery is available only to destinations accepted at checkout. International parcels may require customs declarations, product descriptions, country-of-origin details and Harmonized System (HS) codes. Customs authorities or carriers may delay, inspect, refuse or return a shipment.

Unless checkout expressly states that duties and import taxes are collected and prepaid, the recipient is responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs assessments, brokerage, clearance and similar charges imposed by the destination country or carrier. These amounts are outside Ghoonghaat's control and may be collected before or at delivery. If duties or taxes are shown as prepaid at checkout, the applicable shipping terms shown at checkout apply.

If an international shipment is refused, unclaimed, or cannot be delivered because required customs information, payment or cooperation is not provided by the recipient, we will contact you where reasonably possible. Any refund will be considered after the parcel's status and the actual non-recoverable shipping, return, customs or carrier charges are known, subject to applicable law.

Address accuracy and delivery attempts

Please provide a complete and accurate shipping address, telephone number and email address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer. If a change is needed, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

The carrier's delivery-attempt, safe-place, collection-point, signature and redelivery rules apply to your shipment. Please monitor tracking and respond promptly to carrier or customs communications.

Tracking, loss and damage in transit

Where tracking is available, we will send it to the email address provided with your order. If a parcel appears lost or arrives damaged, contact us promptly at ghoonghaat@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +91 78598 36365, with your order number, photographs and any relevant carrier information. We will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by applicable law.
